Meredith's visit and baby birds

Yesterday, Meredith visited the school with her beautiful baby girl, Jane Baird. I still had my camera out in the car from Britt's graduation, so I gradded it and took a few pictures. When I was walking back out to the library, I noticed the bird's nest outside the library had little baby birds in it. I couldn't get a good picture because they are so high up, but you can see the nest pretty well.

My niece's graduation!

On Monday night, my niece Brittany graduated from high school. I rode up with my parents, Logan, and my sister Jennifer. We had a really good time and were all so proud of Brittany. She is planning on going to college next year to pursue a degree in business and is also thinking of going to Massage Therapy school too. We love you Brittany! Congratulations!!!
The Bice family (minus Jess) with the happy graduate.

Ethan's Superhero Birthday!

My nephew turned four last week and this past weekend was his birthday party. Ethan is obsessed with SpiderMan so Jen decided a SuperHero party was in order. Almost all of the little kids showed up in superhero costume, and even a few adults. We brought Super Diaper Baby with us (a.k.a. Logan) and had a really good time. Ethan must be very popular, because Jenn's whole house was full of kids and their parents and so was the back porch.

These yummy SpiderMan cupcakes were a huge hit with the kids.

Logan's crazy hair

Last Sunday morning, I could not get Logan's hair to fix at all. So, I decided I would go with the flow: this is the result!

A trip to Stix

Last night, Chris and I went to one of our favorite restaurants, Stix, with the Williams clan (minus Tony and Logan). Jake's girlfriend, Sam, is in for the next month and we wanted to celebrate. She is, without a doubt, the perfect woman for Jake.
Christy and the boys also joined us and that made our night even better. Christy looks fabulous after having a baby only eight months ago. She has definately made me realize nursing mothers can still look great even though there are lots of diet and exercise restrictions. I absolutely love spending time with these people, and just like my own family, I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world!

Mother's Day & 27th Birthday

My very first Mother's Day also happened to fall on my birthday. Everyone kept telling me I was going to get "jipped" with the gifts. I tell ya, no one seems to know my husband; he came through big time for me. For my birthday he bought me a super cute dress (I have been complaining that I had no dresses to wear to church), skirt, and shirt. For Mother's Day, Logan bought me a willow tree figurine and Chris bought me one. The also bought me a bouqet of lillies for both occasions. At church, I received a special corsage for being the youngest mother at church. We had a wonderful weekend and really enjoyed spending time with both of our families and with each other. Thanks Chris and Logan for a wonderful Mother's Day and birthday; I can't think of a better family in the whole wide world!

Fussing at Sleep

Anytime we get in the car, Logan falls asleep. When he was a newborn, he would cry and pitch the biggest fit when we put him in his carseat. About two months ago, he stopped pitching the fits (thank God!) and now does what we call "fussing at sleep." He literally sounds like he is mad at sleep and is giving it a piece of his mind. It starts out really loud and slowly gets softer and softer until he drifts off to sleep. We always get so tickled to hear this and just had to share it with you all. This video just shows the last part, when it's a little softer so you may need to turn your volume up.

Laughing at Daddy!

We just love to hear our little man laugh. This is just a short video of Logan laughing at his daddy.

A visit to Papaw and Granny

After we visited Abby Grace, we stopped by my mom and dad's so I could feed Logan. Ethan was there and I just had to snap a few pictures. I just love that little man. He adores my son and is constantly kissing him and saying sweet things. Yumminess just runs in our family!

Abby Grace has arrived

Two of our closest friends, Nathan and April, celebrated a wonderful miracle on May 4th. Their little girl, Abby Grace was born; she weighed 8lb 5oz and was around 20 and 1/2 inches long. We went to visit on the 5th and think she is the most beautiful little girl. She didn't cry a single time while we were there and Chris and I both got to hold her. Below are just a few pics from our visit. Congratulations Nathan and April!

Logan is ready to visit the new baby!

April's Papa Fred sent these, since he wasn't able to come.
One proud Daddy!

Gina, her son Brock, and Faye also came to visit. Brock is a pro with babies.

Logan's nursery

Everytime someone new comes over to visit, the first thing they want to see (after Logan) is the nursery. Since a lot of people that follow my blog haven't been to our house, I thought I would post some pics of Logan's nursery (If you want to see more pics of the nursery and our family, join facebook- I post like crazy on there).
I think it's obvious which team we always root for during football season. We did get a LOT of naysayers when we told people we were going to do this theme, but in the end most everyone loves it. Most importantly, we LOVE it and Logan seems to love it as well.
