Prayer Request
On March 26th, my very good friend Meredith had a beautiful baby girl named Jane Baird. Later that day the nurses discovered that she had a fistula, which is a hole in the esophogus, making it impossible for the baby to swallow/digest food. She had surgery at Children's Hospital on Friday and we are asking that you all pray not only for Jane Baird, but also for her parents Meredith and Alan. So far, the surgery seems to be a success and they hope to take her off of the ventilator and feed her soon. Pray that they find no more holes, that she is able to digest her food, and that the baby can come home very soon. Also, pray for Meredith and Alan, as they will be driving back and forth everyday until the baby gets to come home.

ReplyDeletethanks so much, Christy! They got some good news today; they took the ventilator out of the room for good and are going to try to do the swallow test on Friday. Pray extra hard that day. Love y'all!
